This Lavender and Coconut oil sugar scrub is 100% natural with no ingredients that you can’t pronounce. This DIY is done some easy steps with just measuring and mixing. Ingredients: 1/2 cup coconut oil; 1 cup fine sugar; Lavender essential oil

2015/02/img_9154.jpg Coconut oil helps to soften and moisturize skin while sugar helps to exfoliate and lavender not only smells great but also calms itchy skin and helps you to relax. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, the ratio of oil:sugar is always 2:1, and finish with about 10-20 drops of lavender essential oil depending on your preference. (pregnant ladies or young kids please take extra precaution or read if you are suitable for essential oils)

We have all eaten yoghurt before, but putting it on the skin?! Yogurt contains high levels of lactic acid which is beneficial to skin and hair. Using yogurt for skin and hair dates back to ancient India, when it was used as an effective remedy to get rid of acne and pimples. In fact, Cleopatra from ancient Egypt was known to take yogurt baths to keep her skin youthful.

Honey- there’s so many benefits but just to list two: Full of antioxidants, it is great for slowing down aging and it is extremely moisturizing and soothing, so it helps create a glow, giving you a complexion boost.

Lemon Zest- It helps to enhance the clarity, glow and softness of the skin. It contains acid and oils that work to cleanse, lighten and brighten the skin; remove dead skin; and stimulate new skin growth.

Try it tonight with some essential oil burning in the background for that spa experience! Now, who says you have to spend top dollar for good skin?
